Stir it up on the steeps, dance through the bumps or enjoy a perfectly manicured run, all on Peak 9. The lower portions of Peak 9 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort are home to some of Breck's friendliest terrain. The Quicksilver lift accesses meticulous groomers, a great place for beginner and intermediate turns. The Beaver Run lift will whisk you to the top of Peak 9 where lies more challenging terrain. In the summer months, Peak 9 is a nice, easy hike.

Good terrain for beginners and intermediate skiersFlag review
If you’re not staying in one of the condos at the bottom of Peak 9 base area, it’s an easy to walk from Main Street. Breckenridge is a great family friendly resort and less expensive then Vail or Aspen. Breck has both ski and snowboard schools for kids, as well as child care/nursery for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Peak 9 has especially good terrain for beginners and intermediate skiers. Peak 9 Restaurant, at the top of the Beaver Run chair lift only serves breakfast and lunch. I saw breakfast burritos, hamburgers, sandwiches, espresso and of course microbrews on the menu.
