I have been dying to go here, I think it was the kid in me and we had a coupon. So first off can you say expensive!!?! Thank god for that buy one get one free coupon. When we first go there we were offered a chance to upgrade our tickets to sit closer.....don't do! Its not worth the money at all in my opinion. When you enter you are asked to wait in a huge room until the show starts. Waiting sucks however there were waiters walking around with food and there were two bars are either side of the room. I ordered two drinks one which was a drunken pirate. I soon became one druken lady!! So 45 bucks well spent in my opinion for such a huge drink. The show started and the pirates came out and took the people to t...

It's alright if you get a good deal on it. The food is alright, nothing special. Get there about an hour and a half early for appetizers. Drinks are pretty pricey. If you decide to arrive early grab a seat cause ...

I should start by stating that this rating is for over a year ago, but it's such an awesome touristy idea for an attraction that I wanted to make sure I got my warning out - it's possible they have made changes and I'm sure the cast has been altered since. That being said, other than screaming obscene things at the cast, this is the worst possible way to spend your money as there is nothing fun about it. I get that it's supposed to be camp and not Broadway, I get that it's for kids, I'm not unfairly rating this, I really enjoy Medieval Times, but this? Ugh. The story was so convoluted and purposeless I literally felt like I had a fever trying to follow it. At some point there was a cirque du solis reject rib...

My boyfriend and I went to the VamPirate Dinner Adventure last night.  I had bought discounted tickets on Goldstar, and it was the first time going to this theater for both of us.  We were advised to get there 90 minutes early in time for pre-show appetizers and entertainment, and that costumes were encouraged.  I wore my costume (Midnight Vamp) and my boyfriend wore his X-Men jacket.  We saw some other people wearing costumes - mostly, it was children wearing costumes and a few adults here and there.  We got there around 6:15, and the appetizers were a little disappointing.  I only saw two types of appetizers, one was a thin slice of chicken on a small piece of bread, and the other one was a thin slice of l...

This was a great show for kids, the pirates were performing all out for the kids. The food was delicious and the service was great. My son got to go participate in the show in a pirate boat race. They had appetizers that were ok but not great. There was a pre-show show. A pirate was dressed in a different color who led you into your specific ...

I took my 7 year old daughter for a birthday party with 5 other kids her age. For the kids, it was a grand ol' time. They got to see crazy pirates jumping around, hear loud music, and cheer for their colors. The stunts were great, and the kids were also involved in the show. They loved it. For the adults: I don't think I'd pay $35 to do it again (I'm not even sure that's discounted). Alcohol seemed watered down, first of all. Also, the food was sub par. It looked like they simply put a piece of pork in the oven, made sure it was cooked, then poured bbq sauce on it. The mashed potatoes were ok, but nothing to brag about. They also included broccoli, which was...well, meh. The pre-dinner salad was also just "m...

AARGH!  We's had a jolly, belly aching good time! (that's my best pirate impression). :) We had a great time at Pirates Adventure Dinner Theater.  There's lots of reviews, so I'll sum up the experience. PROS: * Good wholesome show * Great songs that will have you singing along with the pirates * Audience interaction great with pirates bring kids into the show * Food is good, not great, but is included in price of ticket * Pirates all look to be enjoying their roles * Acrobatics and stunts were amazing (not jaw dropping) but it takes skill to jump that high in the air, spin/twist, and land on your feet...all while singing. CONS * They nickle and dime you on the extra food, drinks and souvenirs * The show is g...

We came here to celebrate my BFF's son's birthday.  They were here visiting from Portland and this was something different to do from going to the amusement parks. They had a august special of $37 per person for adult/children.  Got a cake for $20 so our dinner show was only $206 which wasnt bad for a party of 5. I've been here before a few years ago bringing my niece for her birthday.  I cant remember if the show was different but I certainly sat in a different section.  They group you in several different colored section and are to cheer on the pirate in the colored section you are sitting in.  We had the blue pirate. The food was not too bad.  Got the soup versus the salad.  It was a vegetable soup with s...

I went to the Pirate's Dinner Adventure last night with my family for my . cousin's birthday and the first thing that shocked me was the price. $61 per person with tax. My Aunt was able to get a two for one special which made the price a little more reasonable but considering the fact that Disneyland admission is around $100, $61 is just outrageous. Upon arrival, you're greeted by a couple of teenage pirates that have you line up for a picture. They have a bucket of props you can wear for the picture and they tell you where you can go to buy the picture after the show. The lobby/bar looks really cool and they have free appetizers which consisted of various kinds of meat on a tiny piece of bread. I was starvi...
