Postdam's gardens span for miles through Postdam and Berlin. 150 construction projects took place on this site, spanning the years from 1730 to 1916. Today, this large grouping of baroque-style palaces and beautiful landscapes have been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is seen as a unique demonstration of the wealth of the Prussian monarchs and their architectural style. Families can stroll through the gardens and feel as if they are passing through another time. Decadent palaces and fragrant gardens seem straight out of a 19th century, romantic style painting.
