Family Resort close to the Beach Action in CABO

I have been coming to this hotel since I was a tween with my parents. Lovely resort and property, with my own family we have been staying at the Sunset Beach Property which is a quick bus/cab ride out of all the Cabo action. We chose to split our stay and enjoy being right at the Rose for a few days and we weren’t disappointed. The rooms have been redone and are very pleasant, certainly not as big as the new properties, but they have everything a family needs- place to sleep, small facilities for breakfast and even lunch prep. Now for the HUGE upside, you have a wonderful HUGE pool that takes up the entire courtyard and is right on the beach! Tons of fun things for kids to do, the biggest decision to make is pool or beach. Our tween son loved the planned kids activities of pool volleyball, pingpong and pool basketball. He made lots of friend in the pool. Our five year olds, enjoyed being able to hang with us on the beach. Wonderful spot to be pampered on the beach with comfy lounge chairs, shade tents and food and drink service. The kids played in the sand and we would dip into the ocean whenever the feeling struck. Quick trips to the pool and right back to the beach. Quick walk down the beach to our favorite spot, The Office for happy hour or dinner each night.

    Tips for Families

Our party consisted of 10 of us, so we always made a home base at both the pool and on the beach. All day we all would swap back and forth. The food service is very reasonably priced and had lots of kid friendly dishes. Use the hotel to set up jet ski’s, boat rides to the arch, etc. You then have someone to provide customer service if something goes wrong. We made a mistake renting a jet ski a few spots down the beach at MANGO Deck bar and 2 out of 3 jet ski’s weren’t working and it was near impossible to get a refund. The jet ski’s at the ROSE were great and for the $5 additional dollars it cost over other places, worth the money.
