We love this stately, old (but recently remodeled) hotel. It is so elegant and grand, but also very current and very customer focused. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Residence suite. The room(s) were gorgeous, very well-sized, it was extremely comfortable and spacious for our family of five (Mom and dad and kids 18, 14, 5). The room had a sleeper sofa and two bedrooms, one with a king and one with 2 queens (or doubles, not sure) and two full baths with shower and tubs. Yes, the location is amazing and the hotel itself is pretty nice. However, as a Ritz Carlton and how much it costs to stay here, my expectations in service and quality go way up and I don't feel like the Ritz quite delivered. Also, I went with some family members who booked it on American Express which told them they had breakfast included and a $100 credit, and when they arrived the hotel said they were not included. It was a big and ugly fiasco which should not happen with a Ritz. Anyway, be careful if you book on American Express Online or Travelocity, as they're doing some deceptvie marketing and it's not cool.
