Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is both a museum and a library commemorating the presidency of our nation's 40th leader, Ronald Reagan, and is located in Simi Valley, California. One of the star attractions of this museum is the replica of the Oval Office and the Air Force One Pavilion. The Air Force One that actually transported seven U. S. Presidents including Ronald Reagan is available for touring. There are more than 60 million documents and 1.6 million photographs housed in the library archives. The RRPL is the largest of all the presidential libraries. Reagan's tomb and memorial site can be found on the library grounds. The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library offers a great way for children to learn about the life of one of the most beloved presidents in U.S. history.

What's Better than Air Force One?Flag review
Politics aside, Ronald Reagan led a hell of a life, and its all on display -- if not somewhat white-washed -- at the Reagan library. The museum/exhibit can be a bit intense for kids, including dark viewing rooms with some disturbing footage of the man's life and near-death experiences. Usher the younger kids through quickly to the hall containing Air Force One, Marine One and the presidential limo. VERY cool for kids and grownups alike!
Tips for Families
It's a solid one hour drive from LA with NO traffic; be sure to avoid rush hour on the 101, lest you spend more time in the car than at the library.
