Sitting on a wildlife refuge, The Sanibel Island Lighthouse, built in 1884, is a landmark of the southwestern coast of Florida. While the lighthouse itself is inaccessible, the beach surrounding it is a perfect location for photos, shell collecting and fishing. Take a great photo with everyone, including the family dog, as long as fido is kept on a leash.
