SeaWorld, Orlando, Florida

This is a really educational park. Here you can learn about all sorts of sea life. Killer whales, dolphins, penguins, sea lions, polar bears, buluga whales, sting rays, various types of sharks. My husband got to go in the shark tank. Yes, you did read that correctly. He went IN THE SHARK TANK. This is no longer offered though so I won't talk about it any more. You can not miss seeing Shamu in action at one of the shows. Be careful if you sit in the splash zone because you will get wet and so will your stuff. SeaWorld has started having rides that are really fun. This is a kind of new thing. When I went as a child they didn't really have any of this. They have a bunch of really fun roller coasters. This park can be as adventurous or as relaxing as you make it. So you can really have fun here.

This is a must if you're in the Orlando area!!! The only negative thing I can write about this place is there is not enough time in the day to see each show once AND visit your preferred attractions (all while trying to squeeze in lunch and dinner, right?) The shows are so detailed and the maze, water play area, and rides are a whole separate attraction in itself! There is something for everyone at Sea World Orlando, so just go!!!

We've visited Sea world two days in a row. In march ,due to a cooler weather , we did not encounter crowds, nor lines at the attractions. the kids went on the kiddie rides as much as they wanted, without waiting at all! The shows are beautiful, spectacular , and some even funny. The kids want to go back anytime! They have a great play structure for kids, which, unfortunately we were not able to use for most of the time, due to the rain. That was a source of anguish for the kids, but we enjoyed the rest of the park.

We went here for my sister's 18th birthday. We dined with Shamu, which is an absolute must see. It's amazing how big the killer whales are and it really gets you up close and personal. Plus, you get a great meal and a souvenir. You also get first seating at Believe the killer whale show, which is well worth it. When you enter the park, you see the dolphin nursery and it was indescribable. It was so amazing seeing the little ones up close and personal and feeling them splash water on you and come up for air. Another favorite of mine was the manatee exhibit. They were "hiding" from us and it was just so sweet to see these huge, docile creatures that SeaWorld had taken part in rescuing. They have a couple of really fun rides for teens and tweens alike. Their roller coasters are top notch for not being a full draw to the park. Another exhibit we enjoyed were the shark aquariums. They were walk-in and surrounded you with aquarium views. Very cool. Finally, feeding the dolphins was amazing. I had never been that close to one. It was so neat to feel their skin and feed them. My sister even got a little nip from one. Overall, SeaWorld was just breath taking if you enjoy marine animals and a great place to take teenagers!

We spent a full, wonderful spring day at SeaWorld Orlando seeing shows, riding roller coasters, and enjoying the landscaping and scenery in the sun. In one day we were able to see a dolphin show (Blue Horizons), the killer whale show (One Ocean), and a sea lion show (Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island). We also rode the roller coasters Manta and Kraken. During the height of spring break there were not many lines. SeaWorld is a gorgeous park, and it's wonderful to walk around and enjoy the scenery, landscaping, and animals.

As a military family, we have been blessed to participate in the Anhueser Busch "Here's to the Heroes" program every year since it began in 2005. This program gives free admission to active duty military families. We use ours every year and typically go to Sea World. The one in Orlando is a great place to visit. It is such a fun place for the entire family. Our favorite show is the Dolphin show...but we can never resist seeing Shamu live. There is definitely enough to do for a full day, so plan on staying from opening till close. We have a tradition of buying the kids a new stuffed animal every time we go to Sea World and their collection keeps getting bigger.
