Beautiful Independent Hotel on Boston's WaterfrontFlag review
Boston’s Seaport Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay in Boston. Located in the red-hot Seaport district, the Seaport is a short distance away from Boston’s World Trade Center, the Boston Convention Center, the Institute of Contemporary Art, and the Boston Children’s Museum. The best feature here is the great staff. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy with your stay – from the valet staff to the front desk staff to the cleaning staff. I’ve never encountered anyone who isn’t great at customer service. But I also really enjoy the hotel’s green initiatives. Since I drive a hybrid, I love the fact that hybrid drivers get free valet parking for one night. There are also shampoo and conditioner dispensers and in-room recycling in the hotel. For families, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are also lots of restaurant choices in the area, and you can also take Boston’s silver line right near the hotel into other parts of Boston.
Tips for Families
Look for family hotel packages that include tickets to the Children's Museum.

Friendly staff at reception and at concierge's desk. Nice lobby area and good breakfast with helpful staff. The hotel was a 15 minute walk from town but there is also a shuttle for those who preferred. I was expecting a bedroom wtih two double beds but there was only one. The staff quickly placed another single bed in our room which we were not charged for (might have been an oversight). It was an easy location to find by car and the valet service was great. The kids were delighted with the little toys they were allowed to choose when they arrived. This hotel is more suitable for the business guest and there seemed to be plenty of conferences on when we were there. My only reservation about this hotel was th...

Relaxing environment, attentive staff
The area around the waterfront was pleasant and a great place to go for an evening walk. The Metro was across the street for quick and easy access to downtown Boston at any time of day or night. We easily got around Boston to fine restaurants and sightseeing during day and night. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel...
