Shedd Aquarium, Chicago, Illinois

The aquarium in Chicago is a really neat place to visit with kids of all ages. When you enter the aquarium, and you look at the ceiling, there are carvings of marine animals all over. It's really neat. They have several mentionable exhibits. Our favorites were the belugas, the dolphins, and the sea horses. The dolphin show was fun to see tricks, but the story line was pretty lame and did not hold our tweens attention at all. It was pretty obvious that the "child" that they "picked out of the audience" was a paid actor. That made it even cheesier. But, overall the Shedd aquarium is a super cool place to spend a day with a family and entertaining your tween.
