pretty fun for thrill seekers, but not exactly so suitable for families with small childrens. Weekends are almost always packed so it's better to choose to go on a week day. Most of the rides are great, my persona...

The annual pass deal is well worth it. We got 4 annual passes with free parking and free hurricane harbor passes. We've gone several times this year with our nine & twelve year old boys.  The rides are very intense. Some of them insane! The passes are great because we never feel like we have to try to do it all in one day. We'll sometimes spend just a few hours there. (Never been at night.) Not great  for kids under 8 but there is a very small area devoted to this age. Its not clean or kept up like Disneyland but it is clean enough. The food is pretty good but expensive of course. They say you can't bring in your own food, but I've never seen them really enforce it unless you wheel in a cooler. Every bag get...

I LOVE Six Flags, Magic Mountain. As a matter of fact, my very first roller coaster that I have ever ridden on as a kid was Viper, so I have quite a history with this place. And it's my MOST FAVORITE theme park to go to when I'm in the Greater Los Angeles area (next is Knott's Berry Farm.) Everytime I go, I'm always blasting their theme song ("We Like to Party - Venga Boys") as we wait to get in. The people surrounding me get quite a laugh, I even made one of the staff members laugh the last time I was there. The rides, in general, are AMAZING and they are, without a doubt, the reason why people come here in the first place. If you want to feel your stomach fly up to your chest on how much thrill you want, t...

Six Flags Magic Mountain is a Theme Park that has been inconsistent in it's 'theme' over the past few decades.  It used to be more about Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird, but now is more about Superman, Batman, and the rest of the DC Universe.  Magic Mountain does not offer the same ambiance and themed experienced as you will find at Disneyland, or even Knott's Berry Farm.  However, I don't think that most people come to Magic Mountain for the theme.  People come here for crazy, scary rides, and there are plenty of those here. We recently visited Magic Mountain for my son's 15 birthday, and he wanted to hit up all of the biggest and fastest rides.  As we entered the park, we were handed a map and a list of all the...
