Sleigh Rides At Taylor Farm, Stratton Acres, Vermont
825 Route 11, Stratton Acres, Vermont| Map |
Taylor Farm is a working dairy farm in southern Vermont that is famous for its delicious artisanal cheeses and milk. In the winter, the farm provides a sweet family activity as well – old-fashioned sleigh rides. Two teams of Belgian draft horses pull box-style sleighs through the property, a classic winter experience that the kids will love. Halfway through the ride, there’s a stop at a fire pit for marshmallow toasting and hot cider. Afterwards visitors are welcome to roam the farm to meet the cows and chickens, and watch cheese being made. Taylor Farm is a nice little stopover for families vacationing in the Stratton area.
