The Squamish and Lil’wat Cultural Centre explores the cultures of Whistler’s native heritage through exhibits, events, workshops and guided tours. Self-guided tours are also an option. Permanent and traveling exhibits showcase heritage, art, technology, language and seasonal use of land and resources. On guided tours, visitors will learn about the Squamish and Lil’wat Nations’ music, the importance of canoes to their culture, legends and languages. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions, view films and examine historical artifacts in the museum.
