The majestic, white marble Rhode Island State House in Providence is home to one of the world's largest self-supporting domes in the world. Guided 50-minute tours offered in partnership with Johnson & Wales University discuss the significance of the building's impressive architecture and take families to view King Charles' 1663 charter of the Rhode Island colony, a replica of the Philadelphia Liberty Bell, and Gilbert Stuart's famous portrait of George Washington.
