The Tallahassee Antique Car Museum is one of those unusual places that just needs to be seen to be believed. The collection here represents one of America’s finest assemblages of rare automobiles and vintage collectibles. The car section includes over 100 vehicles that were built from 1860 to 2001 (the first automotive prototype is from 1894 – the 1860 vehicle is Abraham Lincoln’s actual horse-drawn hearse!) The antiques section of the museum has items from such wildly varying categories as sports memorabilia, motorcycles, antique toys, pedal cars, antique boating items, golf memorabilia, cash registers, time pieces, bicycles, can openers and Indian artifacts. And what museum would be complete without its own Batmobile? The Tallahassee Antique Car Museum is a unique experience that should prove entertaining to everyone in the family.
