A beautiful spiritual place to visitFlag review
When we lived in Utah, one of our favorite places to visit was Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City. Temple Square consists of the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the original Mormon Tabernacle, and the LDS Temple, which was built in the mid 1800s. All exhibits in Temple Square are free of charge and there are plenty of young LDS missionaries who will provide tours of the grounds. The best time of the year to go is during Christmas time. The entire Temple Square is decorated with thousands upon thousands of Christmas lights. Crowds can get rather big in the evenings, but it is worth the visit to see all the decorations. You also need to check the schedule of the tabernacle, which has shows all musical shows frequently. It is fun to sit and listen to the large pipe organ in the original tabernacle. A definite must see when in Salt Lake City.
