One of the few places I would consider returning to childhood for a while. :)Flag review
Sometimes children want to act like grown-ups, and sometimes grownups want to act like kids. This is the sort of place where the two can meet and play together! From the obvious setups of a kid-sized supermarket or cafe, to the surprise of getting into an actual jet cockpit, ambulance or firetruck; from the wonder of a story garden or pumpkin coach, to the factual information provided in the ever-changing themes, this is a great place to visit, again and again! I will probably include pictures from past visits- there's so much to see and do. :D There are some areas that could use refreshing, such as the music room which used to have instruments one could play but they seem to have disappeared or been broken. I leave room for the possibility that has already happened since we were last there.
Tips for Families
Those in closer proximity can benefit from membership, or even summer camp! The summer is fantastic for the garden option, make sure you leave time to get in a good visit out there and explore the story world. We found the lunch room off limits when the summer camps were using them, so finding out when that will be happening can help in personal planning. There is no restaurant so pack a lunch with a drink for a happy day-long visit.

This facility is across the parking lot from the Ross Park Zoo, so be sure you include that in your planning if you wanted to go there anyway. :)

My Kid's Review
Inevitably the kids will see pictures of our last visit and say, "I want to go there again!"
