For Harry Potter Fans of All Ages, This is a Don't MissFlag review
This is a fantastic, fun, detailed tour of the "behind the scenes" making of the Harry Potter movies. Many of the indoor scenes for the movies were filmed at this studio and two large buildings here have been turned into a museum. Walk through Diagon Alley, the Great Hall Dumbledore's office, and peek into Hagrid's Hut and the Weasley's kitchen. Pose by Wizard's Chess pieces and have your picture taken while "flying" on a broom. Learn about how many of the special effects were done, the hard work behind the making of the props, and so much more. This tour is expensive, but, in my opinion, worth every penny.
Tips for Families
Allow 3 hours for the tour. There is a cafe at the tour's entrance, but you can bring in your own food, but you're not allowed to eat it while on the tour. About halfway through the tour there is an outside area with picnic tables and a small concession stand where you can have a snack or picnic before you move on. You can also bring your picnic into the cafe, if you like. Harry Potter fans of any age will love this tour, though it may be too long for those under the age of 4.
