Just came back from Maui where we went to Lanai with Trilogy. This was the best day of our vacation bar none!!  This trip was my 4th time using Trilogy and when it came to booking this vacation, and wanting to snorkel, I didn't even look elsewhere. Now that we had a toddler with us, I thought of all the excursions that Trilogy offered, Lanai would be the best one as it included not only snorkeling, but playing on the beach as well as a tour of the island (should you so wish to do that).  I was afraid that my son wouldn't have any fun if we were on a boat all day as he is too young to snorkel.  We are planning to visit Maui next year again and will definitely do this trip again with Trilogy. And when my son i...

Such a bummer that they operate the shack at Ka'anapali Beach Hotel.  At first, we thought they were great!  And actually, the guys who were there the first few days were!  Super knowledgable, friendly and just gave great customer service.  The guys after that seemed like they could care less about working and really just wanted to chill all day....which i GET!  I mean, HELLO, you work on the beach in Hawaii!  BUT.... Our last day there (a Friday), we wanted to take surfing lessons.  We went to the Trilogy shack (which offers surf lessons 3 times daily) at about 11:45 and asked when the next lessons were...the guy in the shack hollered to another guy "what's left for surfing?" (2pm is the advertised daily of...

One of the highlights of my trip despite my propensity for sea-sickness and recovering from a cold. That is all due to the crew of the Trilogy! They made every moment as comfortable as possible and led a fun, adventurous trek from Maui to Molokini to Turtle Town and back. The food on board was better than some of the restaurants on-shore and the crew served it with a giant smile, serving as waiters, lifeguards, photographers, captains/first mates, tour guides, entertainers and doctors (at least for me) and any other role that you can think of. If you are going to snorkel in Maui, you must go with this company. The super-friendly and professional service make all the difference! The tour includes breakfast, l...

Everything about our day trip to Molokini was great. It was beautiful snorkeling, SNUBA was great. The crew were fantastic. Cynthia got me through my minor freakout when my brain couldn't understand how I was underwater, but breathing. Everything was top-notch and comfortable. An unexpected surprise was the amazing sailing we did at the end of the trip...

We took the trip to Lanai in July 2011.  As I read on another review, they were a little late checking us in and getting underway, but they also kept us out an hour later than planned, allowing us to watch the sunset on the boat.  So no one complained! The crew members made a personal connection with everyone on the boat, introducing themselves and learning our names.  The food on the boat was great!  Much better than we expected. On the way to the island, we saw a huge pod of spinner dolphins and were given plenty of time to watch them.  The snorkeling at Lanai was very good.  We took the van tour as well; there's not much to see, but our tour guide was a local woman who told us great stories about the hist...

It's hard to rate this because I've never taken any other snorkeling tours on Maui, but I'll do my best given the other reviews I've seen :-) We did the 5 hour snorkeling excursion to Mokilini and "Turtle Town" (which I found out in my "Maui Revealed" guidebook isn't actually a real distinct place but more of a marketing concept used to lure snorkelers).   The good: 1) Awesome boat. Brand new, immaculate, spacious, plenty of shade, more than big enough for amount of guests on board. 2) Great food. Many other tours don't offer good food so if that's important to you, check out the details. We got cinnamon roles, TONS of fruit, chips and salsa, and a huge lunch with teriyaki chicken and salad, PLUS ice cream l...

Went August 2010 and I still cant forget it. My family and I did the discover lanai excursion. It was a pretty big group so there were two boats used.  They do serve food and beverages. For breakfast there are cinnamon rolls and later on they bring out some fruit. Lunch they had different kinds of wraps I can only remember having a tuna one and it was good, i think there were 2 other ones. Dinner is at lanai, its a picnic table kinda setting and they serve chicken, noodles, and vegetables. There are others but I don't remember.   Now onto the activities they do have all the snorkel equipment on the beach and there is always help when you need it. The captain and crew members help you get in and out of the wa...

Had to get registered on Yelp to write this review. Yep, Trilogy is that impressive. My angle might be a bit different from most of the reviewers here. I booked the Snorkel at Molokini 6:30 trip for two on Feb 2, 2011 online. That's the 4th day we spent on Maui. Unfortunately my wife caught cold along the way, and it took a turn for worse the night before the snorkel trip. She's coughing and having a low fever. So she decided to bail and I went on by myself. By the time we lined up on the wharf to register, Captain Jeff noticed that I was coming alone and asked what happened to the wife. I told him she's sick and could not make it. As I was about to go ahead and take my shoes and socks off by request then pu...

This is a review for a whale watching 2 hour cruise. Great crew. Our Captain (Riley) was great. The crew was open to answer questions. We saw some amazing breaches. One was about 50 yards off our right side. A baby whale and ...
