The UMV Morgan Horse Farm shows the history and lineage of the Morgan horse. It is dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the Morgan Horse through breeding and selection. Designated as a site on the National Register of Historic Places, the farm is also home to significant Morgan history and a variety of educational programs. Hundreds of young people have learned from our Morgans in an apprentice program. Thousands of others, for over 60 years, have learned about the Morgans through guided tours of the stables and video presentations about the Morgan Horse & Farm. UVM Morgans are prized as superb pleasure horses for recreational use and as foundation broodstock.

Tips for Families
Picnicking is allowed on the premises. Visiting hours are from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily, from May 1 – October 31. A farm gift shop features hundreds of horse-related gift items.
