Universal CityWalk Hollywood is a lively entertainment and shopping area that surround Universal Studios. Covering over three city blocks, families can find a plethora of fun attractions along the CityWalk. Restaurants, retail stores, theaters, and nightclubs are just a few examples of the types of businesses one can find in the area. Jillian's Hi Life Lanes, a cutting edge bowling alley and arcade, is the perfect place for families with children to have a ton of fun! For the more daring, indoor skydiving may be an option at iFly Hollywood. There is something going on at Universal CityWalk Hollywood 365 days a year!

Tips for Families
Consider visiting the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park while there. It's one of LA's top attractions for kids and the ticket prices are affordable, especially compared to Disneyland's.

Hollywood-style shopping and diningFlag review
Adjacent to Universal Studios, Universal CityWalk is a destination in itself. We've come here many times for birthday celebrations and dinners even when we don't continue on into the theme park. My daughter celebrated a birthday here with ice skating in the seasonal rink, and neon bowling. And when we can't decide where to eat for dinner we often come here because of the 30-plus dining options and festive ambiance. We also shop here for unique gifts for holidays and birthdays. In addition to CityWalk's shops and eateries, there's a 19-screen movie theater and seven-story IMAX. The only downside is that there is paid parking to visit CityWalk, but that's a small price to pay for a fun night out on the town with your family.
Tips for Families
Hold on to your parking ticket if you see a movie. Turn in your movie stub after the show and pay just $2 for parking.
