A Great Destination for older kids!

Universal Studios is a great destination for older kids and adults alike. We had a great time at this resort this past summer and would recommend it to families that have older kids and teenagers.

Fun Times

Universal was great as a family vacation. There were so many things to do for both our girls. One is 8 and the other 11. There were so many things to do and so much to see. We went over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was perfect. It wasn't very crowded and the weather was beautiful. We will definite go back again soon.

Tips for Families

Buy the Express Lane tickets for Universal. It is worth the money in the time you save standing in lines.

Not only good rides, but a lot of great restaurants along city walk. Very informative about movie making too. Good street shows.

Tips for Families

Go early and catch all the street shows. they usually end in late afternoon. Bring food and drinks to save money. We did valet parking for the first time and it was the best no long walk with the kids when they're exhausted.

Thanksgiving Family Vacation at Universal Studios

We went to Universal Studios Thanksgiving weekend. We were afraid it would be crowded, but to our surprise it wasn't crowded at all. We had a very good time. We rode all the freaky rollcoasters and went into all the attractions. It is a really great place for kids 9-12! There were things for all of us to enjoy. The food was great and we enjoyed our holiday vacation very much. We'll probably do it again.

Tips for Families

Black Friday shopping made the crowd at Universal Studios very good. Everyone was shopping instead of going to the park. We were able to even go shopping for a little while in the evening after the crowds at the mall had died down also.

Things are looking up...now

This place is in a real need to be re-vamped. I think they neglected it while they made Island's of Adventure but now they are changing somethings. You must go on the MUMMY. Its full of surprises and its lots of fun. The Shrek movie is cute too. Make sure you check out the ET ride. He says your name...how sweet. Don't forget to take a picture with the Universal Studios ball in the front of the park when you arrive. Because when you leave it will look a lot different at night so take one then too. If you are a movie buff and like horror go to the demonstration that explains the way they do the make up. Its a scream...litterally.

Harry Potter was worth the trip

We went to Universal because of the Harry Potter section of the park. It was great. Of course, we wanted more and heard that they will be expanding. We will be back for more butterbeer after the expansion takes place.

A fun Florida attraction

When staying at DisneyWorld, we rented a car for a couple of days and took the trip to Universal Studios. The kids and my husband really enjoyed the Twister ride, while I watched and took pictures. We all had fun on the Simpsons ride and The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman. I guess I am spoiled by DisneyWorld. I found Universal to be less "friendly" and inviting, and definitely not as clean as DisneyWorld.

Don't come hungry; food and drinks are quite pricey.

Best Park for Kids 8 up EVER!

AMAZING TIME! This park was our daughter's favorite by far!! She had an amazing time here. So did we! GET THE SPEED PASSES! We blew through the park and got to ride everything we wanted to. It was so fun!
