The site of competition during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, Utah Olympic Park offers families the chance to see future Olympic athletes train and participate in thrilling mountain activities. Depending on the time of year, parents and kids will love choosing from exciting options like ziplining on two different tracks; zooming down the specially constructed stainless steel alpine slide, which offers special sleds that give riders control along turns, banks, and drops that are just like real Olympic bobsledding tracks; navigating rope and balance courses; and ice skating around the same rink used in the 2002 Winter Olympics. For older teenagers and adults, there’s even a chance to ride on a real bobsled with a professional driver. Families vacationing in Park City will love to spend a day or more at Utah Olympic Park.

Overnight Getaway in Park CityFlag review
This was a fun place to stop and show the kids how people train for the Olympics. Any time of year you can find people practicing, landing into a pool of water in the summer. The kids loved it! Beautiful drives and hikes nearby, plus swimming at the hotel make this the perfect close getaway. Don't miss the Alpine Slide either! Kids new favorite activity!
Tips for Families
Kids will love this place and love to watch the ski jumpers any time of year. Don't forget to try out the ever-loved Alpine Slide during operating months.
