South Road, Warwick Camp, Bermuda| Map |
Visitors to Warwick Long Bay can explore little coves and rocks along this half-mile stretch of pink sands. The Long Bay area actually is composed of several beaches, including Warwick, Chapling Bay, Stone Hole Bay and Jobson’s Cove. Warwick Long Bay is the biggest beach, distinguished by two large boulders at the western tip of the beach. All of these quiet beaches with their protected shallow waters are conducive to family fun. Snorkelers will find plenty to see along the reef. Despite frequent winds, the waves here are surprisingly small due to this offshore reef. In the late afternoon, parrotfish can be seen feeding along the water’s edge.Amenities include public restrooms at the end of Warwick Long Bay, and a concession stand that rents snorkeling gear from May through October. In summer, there is a food truck that serves light snacks.
