Tips for Families

Campground reservations are very hard to secure in Yosemite, so book campsites well in advance. If camping isn't for you, there are a few hotels in Yosemite and a beautiful lodge, the Evergreen, near the western entrance of the park. There are many great day hikes in the park, and though it is very cold, take a dip in the water -- it's the cleanest and purest you'll ever see.

Tips for Families

This is a great time for kids off all ages! My 2 year old grand daughter had so much fun! As well as other family members up to the age of 52. Helmets are free, and they have traffic cones that are great to hold onto for the beginners. The also have gloves, hats and snow toys available for purchase.
