    Totally family friendly!

The hotel was staffed appropriately and everyone was helpful. There were several choices for food, important with kids! The lobby and grounds were filled with things for the kids to look at and do. Great experience!!

A Great Base for Visiting Dallas Fort Worth

It’s like a small town enclosed in a biodome. You really have everything you might need for a lovely stay. Spacious rooms – be sure to request a room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Beautiful grounds – with a heated outdoor pool, beautiful walkways, and even a small vineyard. Visit during the winter holidays to enjoy ICE – wander through magnificent ice carvings and enjoy fun character breakfasts and other events with Dreamworks characters.

    Tips for Families

Just a few miles from Dallas/Fort Worth Intl airport. A shuttle can take you to downtown Grapevine or Grapevine Mills Mall which has fun family attractions like LegoLand Discovery Center and SeaLife Aquarium.

4 day/3 night business trip mixed with leisure

Las Vegas-sized resort with amenities for parents and children. Our kids loved the indoor pool all 4 days we were there and with so many restaurants to choose from, there was no need to leave the resort. Everyone from the valet to room service provided excellent customer service. BTW, if you order Breakfast for 4 room service, you better be hungry! We were probably better off with Brunch for 2 to share with our little ones. Housekeeping didn’t come until late in the afternoon but I should have called and scheduled for an earlier time. The only other negative is better soundproofing as we could hear the person next door on the phone.

    Tips for Families

In regards to room service, order Brunch for 2 instead of Breakfast for 4 if you have little ones. Call Housekeeping and ask to have your room cleaned in the morning if you are out all day.

    SCAM !!!

There is a reason this place is rated so low. I got stuck in this situation bidding on Priceline. I get it for well under $80. It is right next to the airport but unlike EVERY hotel in the area they don’t have a shuttle. They will gladly pick you up for almost $200 I got $100 rental car, $27 Valet Parking $19 resort fee. My cheap overnight stay at the Dallas Airport is all the sudden not what I planed. I get in my room and its dirty. TV and AC will not work. Have a nice view of a parking structure. when I asked the Manager on duty Ashley why they don’t have a shuttle from the airport I felt like I was talking to a Mc Donalds employee. She had zero customer service ability. Stacy Baytops needs to speed a lot of time with Ashley and train her and determine if she should be dealing with guests. After check in we sat around waiting for a bellman. After awhile we just took all our bags to our room ourselves. Rooms are small, I would take a basic old two story pool in the middle park your car in front of your room no tell motel over this dump any day !!

The Gaylord Texan WOWS guests with its fantastic Christmas display and the ICE production!

Kids are always fascinated with Christmas. Gorgeous and whimsical displays wow the kids as well as adults. Take a tour through the hotel’s ICE, a hit with all ages.

    Tips for Families

Stay in an upper room with a balcony that overlooks the main entrance area, allowing you to view the beauty of all the decorations.
