Get carried away in the days gone with the wind with a family visit to the Northwest Carriage Museum, a family-friendly historical museum that boasts one of the finest collections of 19th century carriages and buggies. Take the kids for a historical and educational ride back in those days when the mode of transportation is horse-drawn. Buggies, wagons, and carriages abound, including a 1895 Studebaker Buggy and the Shelburne Landau used in the movie classic ?Gone With the Wind,? the Northwest Carriage Musuem also features historical artifacts from the same era and provides educational tours, where kids get a chance to make butter or corn husk dolls and dress up in period clothing, and supplementary coloring sheets and games to keep the kids entertained.
