NICE Treat!

Flag review

We recently stayed at MGM Grand over Spring Break. I was initially worried about bringing our teenagers there because I didn't think they would enjoy it, and neither would we. I didn't realize that there is so much for teens to do there. My kids really enjoyed the shows, especially the magician. That blew everyone away and the way he told magic, it told a story. I have to admit I had tears in my eyes at the end, I won't say why (spoiler!), but it was a very touching story he told through magic. The buffet was magic too, it was delicious and the staff was very nice about my daughter knocking her tea over. :)

Tips for Families

Great trip! Bring the kids to the shows, especially David Copperfield. He was amazing!

WONDERFUL!!!

Flag review

My kids loved the Queen Mary! I wasn't sure bringing my children on this weekend trip would be a good idea. The Queen Mary doesn't have most of the "usual" activities that my children love- a basketball court, game room, etc., BUT it does have a ton of ambience, history, and many nice people that answered my kids questions very cheerfully! The room was immaculate, the breakfast delicious, everything was wonderful

Tips for Families

Get the room with the "servant's quarters". Which is basically a little room next to the cabin room. My kids LOVED it and thought it was so cute!

Beautiful!

Flag review

Lovely hotel! Clean, well-organized, rooms were very fresh smelling and clean.

Tips for Families

My kids were a little noisy so I would warn families to remind the kids to keep the volume down, the walls are not that thick.

FUN for kids!

Flag review

Knott's Soak City gets a big thumb's up from our family. We stopped there on our way to Phoenix and it was very hot! Our kids were soooo happy to jump into the water, and away they went. Park was clean, well organized and well staffed. Only complaint was a few places where the concrete was so hot, it burned my daughter's feet. Wish they could use that non-heat foam or some other solution to keep the ground cool for little feet! THANK YOU~

Tips for Families

GREAT for kids, relaxing for parents!

FUN for older kids!

Flag review

I hadn't been to Magic Mountain in many years. I remember as being sort of seedy and run down, unclean and disorganized. Well I am happy to say that Magic Mountain has definitely improved! Rides are maintained, food was fresh, employees very polite and helpful, and there is a whole new attitude of caring professionalism. I really appreciated the strong security presence, it made me feel safe to leave my kids there for several hours while my hubby and I visited a nearby bookstore and restaurant.

Tips for Families

Better for older children, not much for younger ones.

Nice place for kids!

Flag review

Very clean, very modern, rooms were not especially spacious but again, very clean and well-ordered. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed a quick stroll through the lush landscape. Didn't like a few of the extra charges that seemed tacked on to our bill at the end, though. Overall, a nice upscale hotel!

Tips for Families

There are some extra fees/charges to watch for!

Very big, beautiful and clean hotel

Flag review

Nice hotel. Very big, busy, and dynamic. Room was clean, front desk staff very efficient and helpful while still being very personable. Only thing I didn't like was the mandatory valet fee, too much! Otherwise it's perfect. Oh yeah it's also in a great location, near a lot of prime Beverly Hills and Hollywood tourist spots.

Tips for Families

Good for families

Warm and nice!

Flag review

My kids loved this hotel. I didn't think the Intercontinental really catered to kids. I thought it was an upscale brand more for businessmen. But our friends booked the rooms so we went with it. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel actually was somewhat kid friendly. It was also very clean, modern, and well kept. Loved the mattresses- they were very comfortable!
