Great day with Family FUN!

Flag review

Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ is a great place to visit with your family. From the rides to the shows there is something to fill every minute of your day. Park prices are reasonably priced and this year they are offering meal plans for families that visit often. I love that each section of the park has thrill rides, for the more daring family members, and some rides for the less daring family members! This way, even though you may not be going on every ride together, you can walk (or sky ride) to each park section together. Of course, it's a great place for friends too!!

Tips for Families

Food is not allowed to be brought into the park, but there are family meal deals everyone can share with plentiful helpings of pizza, chicken, fries and drinks. Take advantage of the many photo ops places like characters, the sky ride and the Big Wheel where the views are plenty!

Fantastic Stay!

Flag review

The Nickelodeon hotel was so much fun for our family we went TWICE! We enjoyed our character themed suites, each with two rooms, one for kids and one for moms and dads, a living room with couch/TV and mini kitchen area with fridge and microwave. This allowed us to save money on some meals in the hotel room. We also took advantage of the food shops in the main area offering pizza, subs, chicken, salads, etc. We booked the character breakfast on our last day which was so much fun for us and the kids. On site we couldn't pass up the opportunity to get slimed by the big bucket in one of the splash park areas and we also took part in some family pool side games - there is no shortage on slime! We liked the convenient location about a ten - fifteen minute ride to the Disney Parks and other Orlando attractions. Even though our children are older, we would still stay there again because of the family fun it offers, it's convenient location and reasonable rates.

Tips for Families

For families looking to save a few dollars, take advantage of the mini kitchen area with a fridge and buy cereal and milk, fruit and snacks for quick, easy breakfasts and/or late night snacks after your day at the park.
