Great Atrium/Pool area - Clean rooms

Flag review

Hampton Inns are one of my favorite hotels for trips away from home and this one did not disappoint! It has a wonderful enclosed pool area which keeps the little ones safe. There was plenty of seats and loungers both inside and outside of the gates. There is a small arcade, ping pong table, and air hockey. All of this is within the same area where the pool is located. A second floor in the same room is full of tables and chairs which was great to hang out and play some board games. This is a beautiful area and there is plenty for families to do.

Tips for Families

Bottled water is acceptable but they ask that you do not bring drinks or food to the pool area, unless of course you get it from the attached restaurant. You have to pay for the ping pong balls (.25) which is yours to keep. These are the only negatives I have for this hotel.

Great hotel for a family getaway

Flag review

I have to say this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at for a quick family getaway. We stayed here Dec. 26 and 27 with another family with older children. The rooms are nicely done with plenty of closet space, nice bathroom and a refrigerator in the room. It has a HUGE pool atrium area with plenty of loungers by the pool and also a upper level area with numerous tables and chairs. We gathered here every day to play Risk, cards and just hang out. Much better than trying to fit everyone in a room. They also have a small arcade area, ping pong and air hockey.

Tips for Families

I believe it cost .25 cents for a ping pong ball out of a machine which you can then keep. Also no outside drinks/snacks are allowed in the pool atrium area unless it comes from the lobby -free coffee/tea - or if you purchase it from the attached bar/restaurant.
