Fun for the Whole Family... No Kidding

Flag review

Magic Kingdom is a family favorite amongst Disney goers. There is so much detail that goes into making each person's experience magical. My tiny toddler was able to ride most of the rides within the park with no problems at all. If rides aren't your toddlers cup of tea there are many amazing shows, parades and character experiences available to fill the day. Most everything within the park leaves both children and adults with positive messages such as: believing in yourself, following your dreams and the power of friendship. Although its later in the evening, the Wishes nighttime spectacular amazed my toddler though this may not be the case for every toddler. Our personal favorite for the day was the Small World boat ride.

Tips for Families

-Bring your own stroller -Buy Princess dresses off property -Bring snacks for young children

All Stars for All Star Resort

Flag review

My family arrived at All Star Movies 2 hours early for check in since we left the Princess Half Marathon Expo early. As expected our room was not ready but the amenities at the resort made the wait a breeze, even with a rambunctious one year old. There was a mini theater area playing Mickey cartoons that kept my little one and my husband entertained. After a little while we took a walk around the beautiful resort and let our daughter play at the playground. I received a text from the front desk as soon as our room was ready and with our magic bands we could go straight to our room. The resort has three pools perfect for everyone's taste (kiddie pool, standing pool and the main pool). All day there were events held at the pool like dance parties, games and movies. With my one year old the Disney Junior pool party was so much fun. The room was small but perfectly accommodated my family of three. Also we didn't spend much time in the room with so much to do. The resort provided transportation to every Disney property so we didn't have to worry about paying to park and needing directions. The movie themes throughout the resort also made the stay feel whimsical and fun. The best stay on Disney property that can be done on a budget.

Tips for Families

-The resort has extended check out time until 1 PM but it's first come first serve. -Magic Bands can be made smaller for young children.
