New Years Eve countdown

Flag review

They had a kids New Year's Eve party on new Year's Eve. It was so much fun. Both of my kids loved it. We got to tour the aquarium and they were able to win items, play games, dance, and make crafts. The aquarium itself is worth the price of admission. My kids loved it alone, the party was just a bonus.

Tips for Families

Be ready to walk and to stand around while your children play with all of the interactive items. My kids had to try everything and loved it all.

Flag review

We rode every ride we could and enjoyed a great lunch.

Tips for Families

Strollers are good for the younger kids, plus you can carry a jacket in it. Buying the refillable drinks and popcorn containers are handy when you have kids b/c it really is cost effective, especially when you use the refillable cups and containers from years past.

Rainy day fun

Flag review

I lived in the Monterey area between early 2005 and late 2007. The date is long because they wouldn't let me put in an earlier date. Monterey is a cooler temperature area and has a rainy season. We spent a lot of time here with our two small girls. It's a great place to spend a day. It has a lot of interactive, hands on items for children of all ages to do. There is also a slide and some bouncy animals for the toddlers to wear themselves out on.

Tips for Families

Bring a stroller and snacks. It's a lot of fun and there is a great place for kids, but some of the areas are geared more for those who can read and have an interest for sea life. Also, there isn't any "close" parking, so a stroller is a must for those with really little kids.
