Wonderful fun for kids, not such a great experience for the animals...

Flag review

My twins really loved this zoo especially because they were able to get really close to some BIG animals, but I was left thinking how sad it was for these animals to be kept in tiny enclosures such as these and the message that was sending to the kids...

Tips for Families

Definitely check out the huge climbing structure - super fun for kids!

Posh for adults, fun for kids!!

Flag review

This is a wonderful, comfortable hotel for adults and AMAZINGLY kid-friendly for such posh accommodations! They brought out a wagon full of toys for our twin 2 year olds to pick from upon arrival and when we got up to our room we found yummalicious cookies for each of them with their names on the plates. The eager reception combined with free food for kids in the hotel restaurant and bar made this far and away the best kid-friendly hotel we've encountered in Chicago.

Tips for Families

It isn't cheap, but it is a great experience and location! Definitely check out the koi pond for the kidlets near the restaurant off the lobby. The hotel is also connected to the water place mall and they have packages for American Girl outings and others.

What a treat - check out Breakfast in the Barnyard!

Flag review

I visited the Coggeshall Farm Museum in Bristol for Breakfast in the Barnyard with 3 year old twins last week--what an amazing experience! The kids were excited to get up close to the animals and I was excited for them to learn about history hands-on. We were able to feed and groom the animals as well as taste home-made Johnny Cakes fresh from the hearth. The museum is fantastic in itself, but the breakfast experience is not-to-be-missed!

Tips for Families

Get there on time to experience all the animals!
