What a wondrous place!Flag review
Our daughter is a tremendous fan of Harry Potter and JK Rowling. On our arrival in the park you would have thought she had been granted entrance to heaven. Walking in we first witnessed the Hogwarts train and then the town of Hogsmead came into view. We proceeded through the town, looking at all the shops feeling like we were in the movies. We proceeded to the Hogwarts castle where the wait was about 75 minutes. My daughter wanted to get on the virtual ride in the castle but was disappointed in the wait. When one of the local Universal Studios employee heard it was her birthday he led us up into the castle depositing us at the head of the line. She was elated. We took the virtual ride, exited the castle, had lunch in the Three Broomsticks with our butterbeer and had Moaning Myrtle talk to us in the lavatory. It was such an unbelievable first impression that we spent at least half a day there each of our remaining days. Our boys loved it too, but since our daughter had read the entire Potter series at least 4 times she felt like she was "home" at Hogwarts.
Tips for Families
Get to The Wizarding World first thing in the morning to hit the castle and rides then wander the town. Other good times appeared to be lunch and late afternoon/evening. If you are a Potter fan, the experience can"t be topped unless maybe by touring the studio in England which is on our bucketlist.
