Family Friendly Hotel

Flag review

My wife, 5 year old son and I stayed at the Skyline Inn from July 12-15. It was a block from Falls Ave (Niagara Falls) and Clifton Hill (Entertainment). Skyline Inn is attached, via sky walk, to the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark which was tons of fun. My son was tall enough to do most of the inner tube slides. We really had a blast. We also went on the Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, Aero Car and Wild Water Walk.

Tips for Families

Get the adventure pass which will give you access to all the entertainment listed above, except the waterpark. When you book the hotel, check for waterpark passes. You can get 1 or 2 day passes.

A hidden gem...

Flag review

While my wife was away running a 1/2 marathon, I took my 5 year old son to this place. It was a perfect way to spend a few hours. We paid the extra $5 to hand feed Jimmy the Giraffe. My boy was so excited about that. They have plenty to see considering the cost which wasn't too bad at all. We'd definitely go back.

Tips for Families

Pay the extra to feed Jimmy the Giraffe. The look on my little ones face was priceless. Oh, and they also have 2 black bear cubs that were so active and incredibly adorable.

Swimming in the dead of winter...

Flag review

We actually purchased a groupon for a 3 day, 2 night stay at this hotel for $149 and at check in, we received a $50 credit. Not bad! Anyhow, we used the credit for our sons ticket purchase to the water park that is attached to the hotel. All in all, hotel was clean, plenty of choices for food in hotel and in the area. We would definitely go back. Our son had a blast....and so did we.

Tips for Families

Bring a swimsuit....fun for adults as well.

Wonderful place for children of all ages

Flag review

We go to DW at least 3-5 times a year.....maybe more. The godfather to our 5 year old boy gets him a yearlong pass for his birthday present. We take full advantage of the discounts on food and shops. If you aren't too far away and see yourselves coming to DW more than a couple times a year, i'd suggest the yearlong pass. It's well worth it. Duke's Lagoon (water park) is really great....definitely gears towards little ones.

Tips for Families

Get the yearlong pass
