This place rocks!

Flag review

This place is absolutely wonderful. When my family and I go to Silverwood we way lay our night accomadations until we get there. We stop into this establishment and are always welcomed as last minute guests. They give us great discounts on the room, they actually let all of us stay in one room and have even let us rent a jacuzzi suite. They have a wonderful breakfast and nice grounds. The rooms are clean and have the ammentities that you expect. There are also vending machines and laundry on site. I stay here every year and will continue to do so!

Tips for Families

They let you have children in a jacuzzi suite if the hotel is booked.

This place rocks!

Flag review

This place absolutely catered to my family. The best thing is that they allowed us to rent a jacuzzi room, even with the small children. I was pregnant, going to the amusement park and this place was perfect. They even provided a roll away for one of the kids. I was able to find breakfast choices that suited everyone's needs, even my picky three year old. The staff was wonderful and the grounds were nice. The area seemed a little questionable, however we had no problems. Plus the prices are very reasonable.

Very quint, beautiful market.

Flag review

Let's face it, most people like to shop. This stop will be just a tad bit frustrating for dad, but he will find at least one thing to make it worth it. The older kids just love all the fun funky things to look at and pick through. Mom can grab some dried flowers and last, but not least some fish for the whole family. I absolutely adored all the quint little shops and found an abundance of treasures to take home with me. The place gets packed, so strollers are hard to use. Don't miss this Seattle destination though, the family will appreciate it!

Tips for Families

If you use child leashes, bring it!

The best customer service ever.

Flag review

Pike place has the very best customer service, I think that the very foundation of the market relies upon it. The guys are flinging fish here and the gals are flinging fish there, the fish just fly everywhere. It is just like you see in the advertisements and the fish really do get thrown around! It is an absolute joy to watch and just a whole lot of fun.The older kids have as much fun as the adults. The only downfall is that the place gets super crowded and it is hard with little ones. Make this a must stop in the Seattle area.

Tips for Families

Be prepared to provide shoulder rides to young visitors.

Don't miss this experience with your family!

Flag review

It is safe to say that your whole family will love a visit to the center. Most noteworthy is probably the amazing opportunity for learning. There was plenty of space and a few cuddly creatures that kept the youngest entertained. Older children find much delight in all the different exhibits and learning how each species is so unique. This is information that really resonated with my children, and they have retained for years. The facility is well cared for and clean in comparison to some other aquariums. The center is quite big enough to spend the whole day so you can plan other things for that day too!

Tips for Families

Bring the camera!

Best view ever!

Flag review

The appeal of this hotel is most abundant outside. The very best part of staying here is the incredible view of the inlet, people say you can see Russia from here! The coastal trails are unbelievable and absolutely perfect for rollerblading and skating. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are large. The hotel offers plenty of amenities and the staff is quite accommodating. The highlight of the amenities, most beneficial for large families, would have to be the full breakfast. Mom will be able to find something that everyone likes, even the pickiest of eaters. Plus this hotel is situated downtown for great dining and shopping.

Tips for Families

Plan on walking the coastal trails. Well paved for strollers and areas for picnicking!

Fun with historic ties!

Flag review

This place is great for everybody, the whole family including dad! This place has serious historic appeal, complete with rustic buildings and a natural hot springs pool. Lewis and Clark were said to have used springs in the area on their expedition. Keep in mind that young children are not allowed in the hot spring. There is also an outdoor pool that all of the kids enjoy! The staff are real laid back and lots of fun. The restaurant on site is reasonably priced and the menu includes plenty of choices for the picky eaters in your crew. There are showers and changing rooms, but no diaper changing station.

Tips for Families

There are crystals in the area!

Breathtaking!

Flag review

We were here in the summer so we did not get the luxury of taking advantage of the ski hills. However the hills surrounding the resort are useful for another activity in the summer that I love just as much and the kids love even more; berry picking! The restaurant at the hotel offers a buffalo meat loaf that is out of this world. The staff is very accommodating and are top notch in first class service. The rooms are extremely spacious and offer plenty of space for families. The hotel offers beautiful views and the grounds are amazing, complete with a pond!

Tips for Families

If your looking to enjoy the berry picking August is the best month.

This pool rocks!

Flag review

The overall ambiance of this hotel was a little on the adult side, but the staff is friendly enough. This place is worth the stay for the pool alone! For older children there is a water slide and a fair amount of room to enjoy the water. There is also a scuba class at the pool which promises great fun for all. The real treat of this hotel, the hidden treasure if you will; the adult pool. The pool is absolutely beautiful and very inviting for couples. If your children are old enough this is a great choice! The grounds, as well as the hotel are immaculate.

Tips for Families

Bring extra binoculars!

Absolutely wonderful!

Flag review

If you have never been to an aquarium, this would be a good choice; this is one that will leave a lasting impression. There are a ton of opportunities for learning and some that allow critical thinking and problem solving through interaction. For the younger children there is a preschool program and story time! The favorite for big kids would have to be the photo stations and the 9-12 like what they like, but the touch tank should be a hit. Its hit or miss with all kids when touching the creatures! Lastly adults will appreciate the various artwork throughout the facility, amongst just about everything else. The aquarium is well kept and accommodating. The staff is very helpful and quite knowledgeable.

Tips for Families

If it is possible go to the aquarium mid-week and the earlier the better. This will serve you well on your drive to the aquarium too!
