A great time and great place to bring the family, something for everyone!

Flag review

Staying at Virginia Beach, VA is becoming a family tradition. There is something to do every day for every type of person. From an amusement park on the board walk, small shops to shop at, various restaurants (buffet, sit down, and take out), a giant slide beach side, the beach itself, bike and roller blade rental, swimming, lounging at the beach, and other beach actives all within walking distance of the hotels! If any of those are not for you, there are bus stops that will take you to Rude's Inlet for fishing, boat rides, jet ski rental, and para-sailing. You can also take the bus to the aquarium or naval base. The kids are never board and there is always something to do, so much you cant do everything in a week. Great family atmosphere (even no swearing signs on the streets), nightly street performers and even fireworks. If you have never checked it out and are looking for something new to try you will not be disappointed.

Tips for Families

Sun Screen, beach chairs and beach umbrellas. Also a cooler full of Gatorade and water is a must. Also Sunscreen!

Suggestions for nearby family-friendly accommodations

The museum and aquarium are great places to beat the heat and get away from the beach for a bit.

Suggestions for nearby family-friendly restaurants

All of the restaurants are family-friendly. Check out Pizza Planet and the Sweet Frog.

My Kid's Review

The Slide is awesome and you can see the dolphins swimming in the ocean.
