    Unique Romantic Experience

Nemacolin Woodlands is my favorite couples weekend vacation. As men with tophats wisk you away to your room from the minute you arrive to extremely amazing customer service received the entire vacation. The architecture and artwork is amazing as there are so many rooms themed. My favorite themed room was the library, where we enjoyed reading and playing board games. A must have massage at the spa is to die for. A weekend of relaxation can not be duplicated anywhere else. This is a vaction you must experience as words do not do justice to the experience.

    Tips for Families

Nemacolin I prefer to make an adult vacation however the resort is kid friendly. There is a kids club and an indoor pool. Must take advantage of the spa and don’t forget your book.

This place is Atlantis for the woodsy outdoor activities lover

Nemacolin is several hotels in one. There is the Chateau, which is like the Greenbrier, and includes a five star french restaurant, Lautrec. There is the Lodge, which is rustic, and nice. There is the condos, which is like renting a house in the woods. Finally, there is Falling Rock, an amazing tip of the hat to Frank Lloyd Wright. Several golf courses, zoo animals, adventure courses, Jeep Offroad Driving Academy, A 1200′ zipline that you take a ski lift back up from…amazing. Our favorite though, is the field club. There I taught my son how to shoot a shotgun, as they have a great sporting clays course and trappers to teach gun safety to kids. They also have fly fishing guides which we have done, and had a great time. This is a great place. If you love the outdoors – it is even worth coming from a log way to stay here.

    Tips for Families

Drive :20 up the road to Falling Waters by Frank Lloyd Wright – make reservations a week in advance. Have dinner at Acqueos, a great steakhouse Check out the weekend of their fall fest – all adventure center activities for one price – great value.
