This privacy statement describes the privacy-related practices of MiniTime, Inc. (“MiniTime”, “our”, “us” or “we”), in connection with website located at (the “Site”), and the services made available by MiniTime through the Site (collectively, the “Service”).

What Information We Collect

The types of information that we collect fall under two general categories: personally identifiable information (“PII”) and non-personally identifiable information (“non-PII”). PII consists of any information which can be used to specifically contact or identify you as an individual, whereas non-PII consists of aggregate information or any information that does not reveal your identity or enable us to contact you. The following sections describe how your PII and non-PII are collected by us, and how we use and share such information. As used in this privacy statement, the terms “using” and “processing” information include using cookies on a computer, subjecting the information to statistical or other analysis and using or handling information in any way, including, but not limited to collecting, storing, evaluating, modifying, deleting, using, combining, disclosing and transferring information within our organization or among our affiliates within the United States or internationally.

How We Collect and Use Information

PII. When you register for the Service and in the course of your use of the Service, we collect a variety of information about you, including, but not limited to your email address, name, city, state and country, ages of your child(ren), if applicable, photos or other content in which you can be identified or other PII you provide via a SNS (defined below).

Registration. You may register directly via the Site or by logging into your account with certain third party social media or social networking sites (“SNS”) (including, but not limited to, Facebook) via the Site, as described herein. If you decide to register through an SNS, we will extract the personal information you have provided to the SNS (such as your “real” name, email address and other information you make publicly available via the SNS) from the account you have with the applicable SNS and use that information to create your account for your use of the Service. The specific information that we extract may depend on the privacy settings you have with the SNS. You hereby consent to our access to and collection of such personal information about you.

Email. We require an email address from you when you register for the Service. We use your email for both transactional (e.g., activity updates such as notices that another user is now following you on the Service) and promotional (e.g., newsletters, new product offerings, event notifications, special third-party offers) purposes. Email messages we send you may contain code that enables our database to track your usage of the emails, including whether the email was opened and what links (if any) were clicked. If you would rather not receive promotional emails from us, please see the section below labeled “Choice/Opt-Out.” We reserve the right to send you certain communications, such as service announcements and administrative messages, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

Demographic Data. Demographic data is also collected via the Site. We use this data to tailor our visitors’ experience, showing them content that we think they might be interested in, and displaying the content according to their preferences. Some of this information may be shared with advertisers on a non-personally identifiable, aggregate basis.

Online Survey Data. We may periodically conduct voluntary member surveys. We encourage our members to participate in such surveys because they provide us with important information regarding the improvement of the Service. You may also volunteer for certain surveys that we may offer to our users, and any additional rules regarding the conduct of such surveys will be disclosed to you prior to your participation. We do not link the survey responses to any PII, and all responses are anonymous.

Information Regarding Your Friends. We offer contact access tools to help you access your friends’ addresses so that you can find your friends on the Service, and invite your contacts who do not have MiniTime accounts to join our Service. We will send your designated contacts a one-time message containing your name and inviting them to visit the Site. These emails will also include instructions on how to remove their information from our database.

Public Forums. We make discussion areas, public forums and other interactive areas of the Site available to our users and visitors. Any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and will be displayed in connection with your name, profile picture and city, state and country.
