    Awesome Family Hotel

I found it a family friendly hotel which caters to Universal Orlando

    Tips for Families

Plan on getting a rental car or you’ll have to eat at the resort

    Would not return

The room was filthy with dust and outdated and the pictures online are deceiving of room size. We had 3 different incidences of dirty glasses in restaurants. The manager was very understanding and helpful but too disappointed to return there. They did come change the room filter but the air duct were so covered in layers of dust if you or your family have allergies I wouldn’t recommend this hotel

    Tips for Families

Try Portofino or other hotel. I also bought my park tickets online ahead of time but then you still have to go to park for ticket so just wait and get at hotel ticket counter.

When you want to feel extravagant

We stayed here for the express passes to Universal. The staff was friendly, the place is very clean.

    Tips for Families

Not a whole lot for kids to do here just at the hotel besides the pool. The food and drinks in the rooms are NOT free, so make sure you put the cookies out of little kids reach. Make sure to have something for the kids to drink in the morning, because although the hotel provides coffee, they do not proved anything for children in the rooms.

Our stay was very nice and the attractions were so close to the resort

It was nice to find a place where we could get a package deal. With six of us it is hard to take a vacation but this was the first time for a high star resort. The experience was fabulous and the staff were excellent. I hope we can visit again we had a great time.

    Tips for Families

Look in advance for package deals (FLIGHT, HOTEL and CAR RENTAL). Take advantage of all the services offered from the BIG Name resorts you can get front of the line attraction passes and front of the line food passes for restaurants. Also, purchase meal deals they will save you time and money on family meals. At Universal you can get a $10 a day meal deal. You can go through the lines at the Park Restaurants as many times as you want. GREAT DEAL

    1-Night stay

We stayed here for 1 night in order to get front-of-the-line access to rides in Universal & Islands of Adventure (both the day or arrival & departure, so for 4 people for 2 days.) You have to pay to park at the hotel and it does not include free parking at Universal (but they do have a fun boat taxi or walking path which is free of charge & runs continuous.) The pool is very nice with a splash area, nightly movie and sandy beach. It would have been cost-prohibitive to stay more than 1 night.

    Tips for Families

Check for discounts. I considered getting an annual pass to Universal for the annual passholder’s discount at Royal Pacific.
