We loved the VWL! Our family of 4 stayed in a 1 bedroom villa - which was the perfect size! DH and I slept in the king sized bed in the separate bedroom, DS (1) slept in the portable crib in our room, and DD (10) slept on the fold out sofa in the living room. The split bathroom was so convenient! DH and I had our own sink and bath area, DD had her own sink and shower area, and we shared the toilet area. It really made getting ready in the morning or for bed so much easier. The full kitchen was great for a family as well. We ordered groceries from Garden Grocer and they were waiting for us upon our arrival. Therefore, we were able to have a nice breakfast in our room before heading out to the parks for the day! We also didn't have to travel far to find a drink or a snack because we had everything we needed right there. The buildings and grounds of the resort were spectacular and so beautiful. You really felt like you were in a National Park Lodge. The dark wood, high rafters, comfortable furnishings, fireplaces, detailed little nooks and crannies, and small Disney touches everywhere made it the most relaxing resort in which I have ever stayed. The pools and scheduled activities kept the kids happy and the on-site child care facility (Ages 4-12) would keep any parent happy.

Great hotel for frequent trips to magic kingd
Disney always does a great job, and this hotel was no exception. Perfect location if you think you'll be spending most of your time at magic kingdom. Just a small boat ride away from the magic kingdom, with boats that come often. We stayed at the villas portion of the facility, and it ...
Best Hotel Ever
Disney does it right. Rented two bedroom Villa at Fort Widerness Lodge with connecting room to second BR. Full kitchen with DW, microwave, stove, refridge, all dinnerware, DW detergent. Three flat panel TVs, W/D including soap, two baths with separate shower & extra lav. Livng room, dining are...
I decided to book at the lodge because I saw it on the travel channel. I just found it amazing on how it was described on tv. To my surprise it was nothing like they described it. The toilet was dirty, so I had to call housekeeping as soon as we got there. The entire time we were there we felt like we were bothering the staff when we would ask questions. Was not as clean as I expected it to be. They were not very friendly at all. I love to travel and experience different hotels. But this was such a disappointment, I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. When I went to disneyworld, I was expecting to have the time of my life, sadly it just didn't happen. Definitely will not be going there again. Thank yo...
