Very Peaceful Resort in HawaiiFlag review
Me & my husband stayed here in December 2010. We were traveling without our children at the time. After arriving there and seeing that is was a kid friendly Hotel we wished we would of brought them. They had 2 pools. One with a children's area, and the other was a normal pool, but children were allowed in both. They had a private beach area where you could use there snorkel equipment and enjoy the fish with your family. While we were there a huge monk sea had come up on shore to lay in the sun. This was something we had never seen before. In the lobby at breakfast time there was an area that sold coffee's, juice and Hawaiian pastries, as well as fresh fruit. This was very reasonably priced. The lobby everyday had 2 parrots which were on display. There were walking trails, one which led to an old WWII bunker from the war. We hiked to that one afternoon and took photos. We did not use them but noticed there was a horse stable and you could rent horses. This hotel was on the north shore so it was kinds secluded and a really peaceful place. We are hoping to someday go back and take our boys.

Expansive resort in a fantastic North Shore location
(BTW, the title is not a typo - expansive is a word) Summary: What a great location! After our first few days in Waikiki, this place was the perfect two-thirds of our Oahu vacation. Got rather windy most days, but that meant staying cool even in the sun on the beach. It also meant our horse ride in the hills was cool, not hot and humid as it could have been. Overall, we all (including two teenagers) loved the place - good rooms and beds, good food and lots of activities. Definitely need a car to get around, or you'd be stuck at the resort the whole time (nothing within walking distance except the bus stop). We travel a lot (5-6 times a year), and this place definitely gets an unconditional recommendation. De...
North Shore Luxury
Absolutely worth the price!! Great rooms, great views, and a stunning setting that can't be beat! Ask for a room on one of the higher floors for the better views (it might be slightly higher priced, but worth it). The surf school at Turtle Bay had the most professional...
Beautiful Luxury Resort
We wanted to experience the North Shore on Oahu, so we booked a Beach Villa for one night at Turtle Bay Resort. We prepaid for our Villa to get the discount. When we arrived at the Resort, we were surprised to find how large it. The website does not do it justice. It is large with a beautiful golf course, tennis courses, a large pool as well as beautiful beaches. The check in line was long, and it took a while to get to the counter. At the counter, we were told that we had been upgraded and moved to the hotel which we were not excited about as we wanted to stay on the beach. However, we were upgraded to the Presidential Suite and give a late check out of 4 p.m. the next day (we were flying out that night to ...
