    Music Family Fun in Memphis

We stayed at the Westin Memphis on Beale Street to have a family trip that included lots of musical exposure. Our family also loves to eat, so having music and BBQ so accessible made for a perfect trip. The hotel was clean, their beds are amazing, and the food was fantastic. It’s across the street from Gibson Guitar Factory and FedEx Forum where the Memphis Grizzlies play. The location of hotel was perfect. The only reason I’d give it a 4 and not a 5 for traveling with kids was because of the amount of drinking that happens in the area. Families with younger children might not find that appealing, but our teen was old enough to deal with it.

    Tips for Families

Don’t plan downtown activities after dinner because the streets fill up with a lot of people drinking alcohol. However, don’t let that stop you from visiting because the music surrounding this place is astounding and you’ll have plenty from which to choose.
