Very accommodating and close to downtown activities

The staff at the Westin Riverwalk helped us enjoy a short trip to friendly San Antonio with our nearly 1 year old. For me, infant sleeping and eating often make travel seem more like a change of venue than an actually vacation. So I am especially thankful when hotel staff help me address those issues. The Westin staff provided a refrigerator for our room and brought us a high chair from the dining room. They also worked to make sure the blackout curtains in our child’s room were keeping out all the light. And they were so pleasant when dealing with my admittedly annoying requests. The only negative was that we had to get two adjoining rooms as the suites do not have a full wall between the 2 area. The hotel is walking distance to the cute and cheap Children’s Museum and on the Riverwalk which allows for easy afternoon strolls.
