    Relaxing stay at Disney.

My husband, six year old daughter and I stayed at the Beach club on a recent trip to Disney. The hotel was wonderful and the pool area is amazing! Our daughter is a strong swimmer so she had a blast exploring all the areas of the pool. There is a water slide for big kids/ adults and a smaller slide for toddlers. There is also a great “beach” area where the kids can play for hours. We are frequent visitors to Disney and have stayed on property many times. This hotel has the best pool area. It is also in walking distance to Epcot and in a great location for many restaurants.

    Tips for Families

The Beach Club side of the resort is closer to Epcot than the Yacht Club side. If you stay here be sure to plan to spend time at the pool.

    Love the Pool!

My kids love this hotel the best of all the Disney hotels for one reason: the pool! They would be equally happy to spend all day at that pool as they would running around Epcot. We just love it! And for the parents, there is a bar & snack bar too!

    Tips for Families

For parents, buy the all-you-can drink coffee/soda cup! It saved our family! We bought two for our family and we shared getting refills. It seemed a bit pricey at the time, but since we were there for a week and used it all the time, it was completely worth the money!

If are planning your trip to the Beach Club, don’t be put off by the negative reviews. We are here now and it is fantastic. The lobby is huge and check was quick and easy. The rooms are large and comfortable but balconies do vary in size. We are on level 2, near the lobby with a lake view and it is perfect. The pools are the best in disney and some days you don’t even want to leave the hotel, Location is central so it’s not far to any if the parks and the buses are very regular. We have the normal dining plan which includes refillable mugs and have yet to buy any additional food or drink. If you are expecting a 5 star city hotel, then this isn’t it, but if you want a great disney / beach type hotel, light, clean and spacious with great pools surrounded by lakes and gardens then this is it. We would certainly come back.

    Tips for Families

“Ask for a room with a large balcony and near the elevator. Some rooms only have a balcony for standing and are very far from an elevator. This is very helpful for those with small children.”

    Nice Place

It was clean and nice. The grounds were well kept. It is easy to get to the bus stops and the eating facilities were nice.

    Tips for Families

Try to get a room close to the eating facilitiy or else you have to take a bus to get something to eat which can be a bit of a pain.

    Great Pool

We stayed here because of the pool which is awesome. They loved the sand bottom and building sand castles. We loved being in the center of the epcot area and the ability to walk into the back entrance of epcot!

    Tips for Families

Take the back entrance into epcot if you stay here!
