Stunning resort with amazing amenities and super kid friendly

We have traveled all over the world and stayed in many resorts and hotels. This was one of the best family friendly resorts that was not only beautiful but the staff was the most accommodating I ever experienced. The ocean was 85 degrees and shallow enough for my 9 year old to walk out fairly far. There were bikes available everywhere on the resort whenever we wanted to use one. The river that runs through the property and the boat tour was amazing. Beautiful wildlife.

    Tips for Families

Look for kid’s eat free deals. We got an amazing deal on Travelzoo that included an amazing buffet. If you choose one meal to eat on property get the morning buffet. It had the largest selection of traditional and continental food. If you plan to rent a car do it at the hotel, you will get free valet parking. Don’t worry about bring your towels on your journey. The valet will hand you beach towels and water as you head out for the day. The most amazing things we did in the area were: Snorkeling with turtles in Akamal (25 minutes away) Ziplines over the jungle and swimming through Cenotes Selvetica. (30 minutes away) Swimming in Cenotes in Dos Ojos (30 minutes away) Going to Explor Eco Park. It sounds cheezy but it is truly amazing. They have their Cenotes all lit up so you can swim through for an hour without the fear of getting lost of clausterphobic.
