Nice hotel and would stay at again
We checked in to the Embassy Suites is New Orleans just for an over night stay on our way to the beach. When you check in there is a valet that takes your car and parks it in a garage. There is a fee, but we were ok with that since we new the car would be safe and off the the street. Every evening there is a Managers reception with free snacks and drinks. Adult beverages were also free. This was in the lobby each night. The rooms were very spacious. Especially for families. We got a room with 2 queen beds. There was a front living area with a couch, chair, desk, tv, and wet bar area with a sink, fridge and microwave. Then there was a bathroom in that same area. Then you walk through a door way were the 2 beds were with a dresser , cabinet to hang clothes and another tv. The room could also be closed off with a separate door. Having 2 tv’s was nice that way we could watch what we wanted and the kids could go in the bedroom area and watch shows that they wanted. Having the couch and living area was a plus!! The next morning they offered free breakfast. There was a big selection to choose from. You could get eggs, bacon, sauage, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, waffles, made to order omelets, fruits, cereal, yogurt and much more. This was really great and was all free. The dining room was very spacious but certain times were busier than others. I would rate this hotel high, we will for sure come back and stay there again.
