Perfect place for our vacation
As a family of five, it is often challenging finding hotels that we can all stay in one room or suite. This two room suite was perfect as it had two true bedrooms (two queens in one room and a king in the other), each with a bath as well as a family room with pull out sofa and a small kitchen with an oven and fridge. In addition not only was breakfast included (which consisted of waffles, eggs, and several other hot items, bagels, cereal and juice) but dinner was served Sunday – Thursday with wine & beer all as part of your room rate. The kids used the pool one afternoon, not large, but plenty big enough to play in and clean. The staff really made it though, every single employee had smiles, said hello, offered assistance, and just seemed pleased that you were there. We will definitely stay here again if when return to the area as well as look for other Homewood Suites on our travels.
Tips for Families
As we were heading to both Legoland and the SD Zoo, this area was centrally located. Torrey Pines State Park is beautiful, nice beaches and easy family hikes one well groomed trails.
