Modest Hideaway close to town
This is an older style resort which was probably hampered by the scarcity of off season (mid August) guests. Friendly staff. No beachfront (rocks) but a ladder lets you take an ocean dip. Pool Bar was OK. Restaurant was OK. Gym was not air conditioned so afternoon workouts were impossible. Dive shop lo...

I hastily made the reservations about 24 hours ahead of time for a one-night stay at the Coral Princess. When we showed up the hotel did not have any record of the reservation that [...]was more than happy to take my money...
Good place to stay
The hotel was generally quite good. The only draw back was the food and drink serving staff. There were a couple of guys that need a boost of be nice to the tourist. They were grumpy and seemed angry. They were quite put out if you want...
Coral Princess Hotel and Resort Review
We won't go back. From the stories that I heard, the hurricanes in 2005 devastated the island and things are in need of repair. We paid for a balcony but didn't receive one. We ...

The person who made the deal with me was on vacation and the desk clerk on duty said he couldn't help. I spoke to a completely unyielding manager. I told him my stay was otherwise perfect and he was in danger of losing my repeat business AND future recommendations to friends (I've been to Cozumel about 10 times) becase he wouldn't compromise on his price, which was more than we would have paid a la carte for all food consumed. We finally found someone reasonable and ended up splitting the di...
