Good hotel for families in OrlandoFlag review
We decided to cash in our Marriott points for a week stay in Orlando. We have always been big fans of Marriott residence Inn, and this one did not disappoint. It is located within walking distance of Sea world, which is nice. It is about 20 minutes to the Disney world Resort, but not a bad drive. It is a quiet location away from the chaos that is Disney. The rooks were nice with plenty of space for the family. The free breakfast was decent as well, which is usually the case at a Residence Inn. Overall, a good experience for the family. We would definitely stay here again when we travel to Orlando. But ,we like to stay away from the crowds.

Decent place, pool is GREAT for toddlers, NO OPPORTUNITIES to RECYCLE
This hotel is very comfortable. It's not upscale or super-renovated. The service staff is very friendly and upbeat. The rooms are large and the beds are comfy. The pool is perfect for little kids. The location is central to Disney. Nice touch with Paul Mitchell products in the bathroom. Our biggest complaints: NO recycli...
Roomy, fun and friendly
Big guest rooms with excellent facilities. Part kitchen including cooker rings, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher with two comfortable queen beds and plenty of space to run around. FREE buffet breakfast is a great way to start the day has a good selection of breakfast foods to choose from. Sun loungers are always available around the pool which gets the sun early in the morning for the sun worshipers. On site dining is not brilliant but the hotel is well placed for the plethora of restaurants nearby. The Hotels is tucked back on Westwood Blvd at the quiet end of International Drive and is minutes from Sea World and all the other attractions. Housekeeping standard is better than most of the local hotel...
A great base for all the parks
We have stayed 14 nights in this hotel on our first visit to Florida. There are 5 of us in a 1 bed suite but the rooms are spacious so there was plenty room. The kitchen facilities were really handy and we have been able to make our own lunches to take to water parks. The hotel is 5 mins away from a large Walmart so easy to stock up. We have found the staff to be, without exception friendly and courteous. Every time you walk by someone you are always acknowledged with a friendly hello. We too had no bedding for the pull out bed and not enough cutlery, plates for 5 in the room - but a quick call to housekeeping sorted it out. I was very wary about security after reading some of the reviews but I have to say t...

Nice Hotel For a Family
Our room had two queen size beds, a pull out couch, a small dining table and kitchen. The dimensions of the room were generous. A family could comfortably stay in this hotel and not get into each others way. The pillows were very uncomfortable: remember to bring your own! Th...
The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. WE had to wait quite a long time to check in, despite me calling beforehand because our room wasn't ready. The pool was nice and not too croweded, the hot tub had so much chlorine in it that it ruined my brand new suit, and my husband's as well. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, but it was better than having to pay for it. The room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfy. I was pleased with the cleanliness and the large kitchen was a plus - especially since we were traveling with 4 kids. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The salespeople for the Mariott travel club got pretty old after a while. There are shuttles to Disney, Seaworld ...
Second Trip, still great
We stayed for 1 week at the beginning of May in a Studio, I was a bit concenred it might be small for a family of 4, since we had booked a 1 bedroom on our last visit, but it had plenty of space. We were put on the main floor, which I actually really liked, we heard almost no one in the halls at night and we didn't have to go up and down the elevator which was nice. Room was always done up well while we left for the day, more than enough equipped small kitchen to make some quick meals and enough cups/plates and utensils. The pool is great, big enough to entertain you and the area that is shallow is good to just sit in and relax when there were no small kids around, in our week there we were in the pool every...
